The story is compelling. Binged them. There are issues, like the almost instantaneous “cure,” which is hella unrealistic, but it doesn’t hurt the story. Most impressive is Tom Holland’s acting. There is a pivotal scene where his face does all the acting, and I almost left the room. It was so good I couldn’t stand it.
This is one of the most beautiful and interesting series I have ever watched. I initially put off watching it though, because I had seen the trailer and it seemed like it would be very dark and disturbing. But, I kept seeing how good it was rated here in the app, so I decided to check it out, at the very least. It is definitely an emotionally intense series and it is somewhat disturbing, but it is well worth the ride and is definitely bingeable. Watch it… and see if you can resist the binge. I hope that you are moved by it like I was!
