"The Batman" (2004) is considered underrated and appreciated for its dark, brooding tone, especially in the seasons without Batgirl and Robin. However, not everyone enjoyed it, as indicated by a brief negative review.

The Batman 2004 is VERY underrated, but I think that's what I like about it. It's a part of the Batman franchise and yet people never really notice it. The seasons without Batgirl and Robin are very much great, dark, and brooding but the other seasons were good too.
