My Pop, My Pop / With Poopdeck Pappy / Popeye Presents Eugene the Jeep

Popeye is building a boat when his daddy, Poopdeck Pappy, insists on helping. When the old man keeps dozing off on the job, Popeye swallows some spinach and finishes the boat in record time. Pappy wakes up, proudly believing he's done his part. / It's bedtime, but old Pappy refuses to go and despite Popeyes efforts, the old man sneaks out to a nightclub. After waltzing all the ladies on the dance floor, the old fellow gets involved in a brawl with their boyfriends. All ends peacefully however, when Popeye and his spinach arrive. / Olive presents Popeye with a cute little puppy, Eugene the Jeep, as a birthday present, with instructions to make him sleep outside. This causes some hysterical situations as "baby" just refuses to oblige the harried Popeye and always winds up sleeping in his bed. Popeye gives up finally and ends up outside nestled in Eugene's bed with the pup sleeping peacefully beside him.
