The Abducted

In the parallel universe, a kidnapper called the Candy Man abducts the boy Max. The Fringe Division is assigned to investigate the case and soon Olivia learns that Broyles' son Christopher was also abducted two years ago and returned to his family, but blind and with other physical deficiencies. She asks Broyles for permission to interview Christopher, looking for additional information, but Broyles does not agree; however, his wife does let Olivia meet with Christopher. Olivia recalls an old case and guesses that the Candy Man might be draining the pituitary gland from the children to use the hormones to stay young. Based on additional information, Olivia and Broyles meet Reverend Marcus, a former physician and now responsible for a church where they believe the abductor is a member. Meanwhile, Olivia meets Henry and asks him to help her get to Liberty Island to use the sensory deprivation tank to try to return to her universe.
