Benedict Cumberbatch and McKinley Belcher III deliver stellar performances in a well-written and moving story. The character of Eric is ironically the least interesting part. The show surpasses average Netflix content with decent casting and an intriguing plot. Cumberbatch's transformation is impressive.
It's better than your average Netflix trash. Likely not at all what you'll go into it expecting. Decent casting. Interesting enough story.Edit: Holy shit, I didn't even realize that was Benedict Cumberbatch. If he hadn't had the facial hair or if he hadn't had the american accent, I would have realized that's who it was, instantly, but with both of those things, I had absolutely no clue even after six hours.
Benedict Cumberbatch and McKinley Belcher III give stellar performances. It's a great story, well written and well acted all around. I was very moved. Ironically, the character of Eric proves the least interesting part of the movie.
This show would’ve been a lot better without Eric.
