In the small community of Oneonta, NY sisters Lizzy and Marie count on each other for everything. So when Lizzy needs to carve out some alone time with her truck-driver husband Casey Callahan she asks Marie to keep an eye on their baby boy Connor. However the young couple's get-away quickly turns tragic. At a tiny truck stop just over the border in Pennsylvania, Lizzy gets out to use the bathroom Security cameras capture what local police and eyewitnesses describe as a terrible accident. Lizzy is crushed by Casey's truck. The loss sends the family into a tailspin of grief and struggle.For one family member, it also stirs up suspicion. Despite the security camera footage and a police report that says otherwise, journalist Gary Wickham suspects that his sister-in-law Lizzy's death is not an accident. He never liked Casey and it always seemed odd to Gary that an experienced trucker like Casey Callahan could have accidentally run over his own wife.With a potential murderer on the loose, Gary dedicates himself to a tireless pursuit of justice, in a desperate bid to protect what's left of his family, and any other women unlucky enough to cross Casey's path.
