Carlsbad: Danger in the Desert In 1980, Johnny and Elaine Volpato were the supposed victims of a robbery in their pharmacy in which Elaine was murdered and Johnny was injured. The police soon focused on Johnny and his scheme to kill his wife.

Phoenix: Shady Deals in Sun City Jun 19, 2000 In 1980, Pat Redmond, his wife Marilyn, and her mother were shot in their home by three men. Pat and Marilyn's mother did not survive, but Marylin did. She was able to identify the men, which included Pat's business partner Ron Lukezic.

Rock Springs: Deadly Draw in the Wild West In 1978, Ed Cantrell, the police chief, and Michael Rosa, a police officer involved in drug trafficking, had a frontier-style shootout. Michael would not survive against Cantrell, and this case uncovered vigilante lawmen and a sordid ring of drug trafficking.
