"Banshee" is highly praised by some viewers, being considered one of their top shows and very underrated. However, it faces criticism for its portrayal of women, who are often depicted as weak and victimized by violent men, with unnecessary nudity and confusing character development.
This show feels like it is produced only by men in the 1990s. For no reason whatsoever women are made weak by violent men, even when they’re stalking and destroying their lives and putting them in danger. And they can’t go an episode without showing their tits. Really ridiculous set up and weird character development—it makes no sense.
One of my top 5 shows. Very underrated. Everyone I recommend this show to loves it
