Dear Antonioni A portrait of the Italian film-maker Michelangelo Antonioni , who has directed such films as L'Awentura, which follows immediately, LaNotte and Zabriskie Point. The work of the director is known for its studies of alienation and its experiments with cinematic techniques. In his eighties, Antonioni has recently had a museum open in his honour in Ferrara, Italy- his birthplace.
