Laura and Mike are getting ready to welcome their 2nd, 3rd, AND 4th babies! Their 11 month-old son, Ryan already takes up all of their time so they are terrified about handling 3 newborns and a toddler! It is a scary thought that Laura and Mike would soon become parents to 4 children within 1 year! They are having 2 girls and 1 boy therefore, they will have 2 sons and 2 daughters and are DONE having children! When Laura and Mike met and got married, they immediately wanted to start a family. But, after a year without getting pregnant, they decided to seek help. Doctors found nothing wrong with either of them and considered it "undiagnosed." They continued to try naturally and after another unsuccessful year, Laura was put on fertility drugs to increase the number of eggs she would release at one time. She responded exceptionally well to the medication so they decided to try timed intercourse before IUI. Laura got pregnant on the first try!. A cerclage (cervical stitch) was inserted at 12 weeks to manage her thin cervix. Doctors removed the cerclage stitch at 36 weeks and Laura delivered Ryan vaginally and at full term!Ryan is the light of their lives and Laura and Mike wanted to give him a sibling very close in age. Therefore, when Ryan was just 3 months old, they tried again to get pregnant. She went back on the fertility medication and doctors monitored her progress. They saw that 2 mature eggs were ready to drop and warned the excited couple that there was a possibility of conceiving twins. Laura and Mike never thought twins was actually possible and were excited to again get pregnant on the first try! There were 3 very healthy babies and it was certain that Laura and Mike were going to have triplets! They could not believe they tried for 1 baby and are getting 3! This pregnancy has been challenging for Laura because, not only is she exhausted and huge, but she is constantly running after Ryan. As a result, she is currently living with her parents until
