The movie "Wish" has a cute concept with good songs that fit well but aren't sing-along types. It includes forced Disney 100th references and has a middling story with a rushed third act. Some viewers found it forgettable, with limited humor mostly shown in the trailer.
Disney tried to write it's own fairytale prequel and it's just messy.
So much potential. So much disappointment. It has been just over 24 hours since I watched this, and it has already been dropped from my memory. One adult joke referencing mushrooms, and how magic they can be was the only smile raised in the entire run time. Any other humorous moments were shown in the trailer.
Forced Disney 100th references throughout. Great concept but middling story. Third act seems rushed but loved this movie for the songs. Not really sing-a-long-ish type but fit into the movie very well.
