Movie is okay. A more benign version of "Tales of the Crypt," at least the one gruesome vignette of it that I saw ~50 years ago, yet still remember. Like "Tales," this offers a series of vignettes featuring a different star in each one. The facilitator of the tales is the charismatic and distinguished Burgess Meredith, his distinctive voice and look much like the Penguin in the TV series Batman that he was portraying at the same time as this film. He even had his cigarette with a long holder in this film, too. A young Jack Palance added further gravitas to the movie.
