Reviews highlight a moving love story between Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet, set against the Titanic's maiden voyage. Praised for its emotional impact and detailed direction by James Cameron. Some found it too long or overrated, but many appreciated its storytelling and performances.
Leo! Saw this in theaters when it released. I cried my eyes out. Fell in love with Leo more. He was robbed of an Oscar yet another time. At the time my 14 year old cousin Kristin, no cap, saw it 17 times. IN THE THEATER!It’s that good. Like so good that a 14 year old would drag her mom to it 17 times in a 4 month period to sit and watch a 4 hour movie over and over. No clue how and it wasn’t cuz she loved Leo. Nope. Just an obsession with this story. For real tho. There’s room. There was room. Diamonds<Jack
Best film ever seen
James Cameron wrote and directed this moving story of two star-crossed lovers set in a carefully researched, brilliantly realized account of the maiden voyage of the Titanic. A young Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet bring a beautiful love story to life, overcoming divisions of class, society, and wealth - then fighting to survive together. I won’t spoil the ending, but the ship has a bit of an emergency en route to America. There is also an under-occupied, spacious door involved.
