Mixed reviews for "The Strangers." Some found it tense, suspenseful, and chillingly realistic. Others criticized it for being slow, with little happening, poor lighting, minimal dialogue, and characters acting unrealistically. It may appeal more to horror newcomers than veterans.
One of the coldest movies because it was realistic.
Tense…Suspenseful…Freaky… Chillingly worth it 👍
Really wanted to like it after reading the synopsis and watching the trailer. Sadly it's 1.5 hours of nothing happening. It might be tension building if you're new to horror movies or movies in general, but everything's dark, so there's nothing to look at, and there's hardly any dialogue. The characters also act like brain-dead children. There's nothing to like about it, except a bit of their conversation in the beginning, and at the end (like literally the last 30 seconds or so)Seriously, it's a bunch of nothing happening, and nothing to look at, for 1.5 hours. It might be a good introductory movie for people that don't watch a lot of intense horror movies, but veterans of this type of movie are gonna get put to sleep.
