I had seen the Lincoln Lawyer series before seeing this, and therefore I had many preconceived ideas about this movie. I'm not a Matthew McConaughy fan, but I am a Marisa Tomei fan. I prefer Manual Garcia-Ruifo's more "everyman" interpretation of the "Mickey Haller" character plus the ensemble of quirky characters surrounding him, as opposed to MM's "finagler" approach, but to each their own.
One of those shows that was originally a movie .. so you don’t bother. On this one, I eventually gave in and just finished the second series, so I guess good .. right? Right.
