The reviews praise "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" as the best in the franchise, even better than the book. It boasts a strong cast including Donald Sutherland and Philip Seymour Hoffman. However, criticism includes the protagonist's lack of difficult decisions and morally grey actions, relying on others instead.
Don’t kill me, but I say this is the best film out of the whole Hunger Games franchise.
Love love love ✌🏼
It's better than the first film in the series. While that isn't saying a lot, it has one hell of a cast starring Donald Sutherland, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Woody Harrelson, Amanda Plummer, Liam Hemsworth, and Jack Quaid (son of Randy Quaid and Meg Ryan). Also, just as in the first film, the protagonist is saved from having to make any difficult decisions or take any morally grey actions by standing around while others make those choices and actions for them. This film is worth watching if you found the first one tolerable and are a fan of the Battle Royale genre (even if not done nearly as well as Battle Royale).
