This is a rom com in the old 90s & 2000 style that is bright, easy, painstakingly cute, funny and sometimes awkward. They just don’t make them like this anymore. This is not so much a Christmas movie besides the events falling during the holiday season, but it tries to evoke that magic of coincidence and chance that may may best felt during Christmas time. While there’s the standard bumps along the way, there is a heartfelt payoff at the end. Decent performances by the lead actors.
It’s December, and in December I watch this lovely film with one of the happiest ending in cinema history.
