Liked ItJun. 2nd, 2023“I don’t think you have anything to worry about. You’re not his type.”Julia Gardner is great. However, The Apprentice is a bit slow at times. There are a few stand out scenes but the office monotony (yes I get it, I’ve been there) drags on at times.That’s not to say the message isn’t great and I’ll be damned if there aren’t some real monsters in the industry. The Assistant is just as much about the Harvey Weinstiens as it is the enablers they are surround them, beaten into formation by fear.An office ecosystem that is built on the hush hush acceptance of something everyone knows to be wrong is terrifying.
