This was one of my first K. Bacon movies I ever watched (he's good in everything). I remember loving this when it was contemporary back in HS.Decided to fire it up because I could barely remember what it was about (been a long time since). Back then I was super into horror movies, especially paranormal stuff. Not so much nowadays, but this was still pretty good imo. Gave off the same vibes as the more recent Bacon film - You Should Have Left (which I also liked). When the ghosts in these movies can do too much to affect the real world it kind of puts me off from them. That's not a problem here, most of the stuff they affect are the characters' mind/perceptions, so I was bound to like it (again).Leaning closer to loving it, but I wish there was a choice between like and love since that's what I'd rate it today if i could.
Loved this movie. I miss horror movies that don’t overly rely on CGI. What creates good to great horror is the buildup and atmosphere. At least for me.
