The reviews for "St. Elmo's Fire" indicate that viewers found the movie underwhelming and boring, with little to say. The setting in 1980s Georgetown and a few good songs were noted as positives. However, the characters, referred to as the "Brat Pack," were described as unlikable brats.
Watched ‘St. Elmo’s Fire’ last night. Trying to watch the few 80’s movies I missed. I’ll just say I was underwhelmed. Beside being set in Georgetown in the 80s and a few good songs, it wasn’t enjoyable and didn’t seem to say much of anything, unless I missed the point. Brat pack were absolute brats.
I thought it was a quite boring story. Not sure why it is so cultish. I'm too old?
