Chris Rock's attempt to shine as a serious actor fell flat. The movie was disappointing, with only the opening trap being cool. The corrupt police force and copycat killer premise ruined the vibe. Even Chris Rock and Samuel L. Jackson couldn't save it, making it the worst Saw movie yet.
This movie left far too much to be desired, only opening trap was cool but the whole Corrupt police force and copycat killer premise killed the vibe of this movie. This is the worst saw movie yet and even Chris Rock and Samuel L Jackson couldn't save it :/
Considering Chris Rock had some passion for this project to the extent that he apparently "polished" the script for it, my thoughts going in were,"Ok-- this is Chris Rock's time to truly shine as a serious actor with serious acting chops."That thought vanished pretty f*cking rapidly upon watching, and instead, I was left wondering why they let yet another of far too many mediocre Saw movies be released.
