The visuals are decent, but the script is hard to follow. Adam Sandler's performance is praised, though the movie is slow and loses momentum towards the end. Some viewers found it unwatchable, turning it off early. The film explores loneliness but may be too slow for some.
The director of Spaceman put it so eloquently when he said about the film, “I think that people who expect things to be following a certain vernacular in any shape or form are going to [find] it problematic. If you just let yourself float away in the film it’s going to be much easier to deal with than if you’re sitting questioning stuff throughout like, ‘Why is Adam Sandler in space?’”This is a great film. The best dramatic work of Sandler’s.
Waste of time!
Actually quite surprising, I’ve never been emotional over the death of a spider before.
