The reviews for "Saw" highlight its engaging twists and psychological terror, with some praising it as a must-see horror franchise. However, one review found it boring, lacking in scares and action. The most terrifying aspect noted is the victims' choices determining their fate, adding depth to the gore.
Ah my favorite horror franchise, Saw was a triumph from horror and showed that, even with extreme gore, death is the least of the viewer's worries. I would argue and say the scariest parts of these films are two pieces of the terrifying Jigsaw puzzle. One being that anyone could follow through with Kramer's work and his philosophy and the other being that living is entirely up to the victims choices. While later installments would introduced rigged traps and traps that involve characters saving other characters from doom, I think the whole gimmick of the victims trying to live from a death they cannot escape from based on their own choices Is the most psychologically terrifying aspect of these films. The plot twists are just the cherry on the top.
litterally boring, not very scary, not action packed
Must see! All of them!!! Twist turns & “OMG” Loved it!!!
