The Reelgood Score is a comprehensive weighted index designed to evaluate movie & TV quality, deriving its value from a blend of Reelgood user engagement, external ratings metrics expressed through content popularity, and user feedback, including ratings such as "loved," "liked," and "disliked." The score is presented on a scale from 1 to 100, where 100 signifies content that is highly esteemed and positively rated within the community.
"Oppenheimer" is praised for its stunning visuals, gripping storytelling, and exceptional performances, particularly by Cillian Murphy. The score is noted as fantastic but sometimes overpowering. Some found the narrative structure confusing and the film too long. Criticisms include historical inaccuracies, a perceived left-leaning bias, and a focus on Oppenheimer's personal flaws. Mixed opinions on its necessity to be seen on the big screen and its overall impact.
Christopher Nolan’s finest work? I think so. Aside from the shear amount of “oh, I didn’t know they were in this” I did for three hours, Cillian Murphy and RDJ stole the show for me.Best enjoyed on the largest screen you can find.
Even if you're not familiar with how the atomic bomb came to be, even if you're not a scientist, and even if you're not a person that has seen everything Nolan has done, Oppenheimer is a must seen for the simple reason of being a story well told. From a personal perspective, I loved everything about the cinematography and how the storytelling is not shy about telling a historical moment in science but in a way that anyone can understand.
Nolan delivers yet again. Incredible film
