The movie "Once Upon a Time... in Hollywood" received mixed reviews. Some praised its execution of the late sixties vibe, character-driven narrative, and strong performances. Others found it monotonous, with an underwhelming plot and unnecessary characters. The ending's violence was noted as cartoony but entertaining.
Things with less feet than this movie:A mile A centipede A shoe storeQuentin has done it again.
This is one of those films that everyone seems to love, but for some reason I don’t see what everyone else is seeing in it. It feels sacrilegious to critique a popular Tarantino film. But for me personally, it was a struggle to stay awake. It felt more or less like watching an aspiring actor and his sidekick go about their daily lives. I found it odd, given the plot, that “Manson” only shows up in the film very briefly and could have not been included at all, and it wouldn’t have changed anything. The only part that was interesting was the last 30 minutes or so, but it was hardly worth the 2+ hours of monotony (imo) to get to the climax.
One of best movies ever!
