The score is presented on a scale from 1 to 100, where 100 signifies content that is highly esteemed and positively rated within the community.
"Night of the Living Dead" is praised for being enjoyable and grounded, with a particularly intense climax that leaves viewers in dread. However, it faces some pacing issues and includes unnecessary sci-fi exposition about radiation. Recognized as the pioneering film from 1968.
Really enjoyable and surprisingly grounded. There are some pacing issues and unnecessary bad sci-fi exposition about radiation (though it does tie in thematically), but the climax more than makes up for any shortcomings! I don’t think I’ve ever sat with this much dread while watching the end-credits.
