The movie is enjoyable with impressive animation and music. The story, while moving and providing context to the original, can be confusing at times.
This film serves as a captivating prequel to the original Lion King, providing a rich backstory that deepens our understanding of the beloved characters and their journeys. It beautifully explores the events that shaped their destinies, offering fans both nostalgia and new insights into the world of the Pride Lands.
Best prequel I’ve seen since Minions. And what a nice tribute to James Earl Jones in the beginning of the film
By the end, I was sucked into the story. It was engaging and beautiful to look at. I liked the songs, but they aren't quite as memorable as the ones from The Lion King. And I could have done without the Timon and Pumbaa scenes in this one.
