The movie "Men" has a clear premise but becomes confusing, especially towards the end. It starts strong but turns ridiculous and hard to finish. Performances are great, but the film loses its way with slow pacing, bizarre dialogues, and unnecessary surrealism. Some find it overrated and lacking in meaningful depth.
The movie has great performances and a very impactful theme that could leave many thoughts, but the movie gets too lost in its development. The beginning is very slow and takes a while to get involved, in the middle it becomes much more interesting, with bizarre dialogues, tense scenes and more fluidity, but in its final act everything is lost, the film appeals to unnecessary explanations, long scenes and a surrealism that tries to be intelligent, artistic, but ends up being caricatured, ridiculous and very predictable.
Started relatively strong but soon got lame and ridiculous. It was a struggle to finish.
Well… it was a strange artistic execution of grief, I think. 😂
