The movie "May" was described as boring, lacking in horror, thrills, and drama. It wasn't emotional and only had a few mildly funny moments. Overall, nothing significant happens throughout the film.
The movie is totally focused on the character, who is expressive and striking, very well interpreted by Angela Bettis. The story is strange and fascinating, mainly because it is engaging and focuses on the psychological side. Everything develops little by little, like a journey that naturally builds up a disturbing, sick and chaotic atmosphere, including some very impactful scenes that generate a lot of discomfort.
This movie was pretty boring. Its not really a horror movie...no horror. It's not a thriller or drama...no thrills or drama. Not at all emotional. there were a few funny parts, but like little chuckle funny not real laughing. Nothing happens the whole time.
A serial killer black comedy(?) with a seriously disturbed protagonist. Too bizarre for me and the animal cruelty really solidifies this one in the "never again" category.
