A lifeless and boring story with Bronson doing his usual stuff. Ireland plays the girlfriend with a southern accent and a lousy wig. Probably her worst effort in an otherwise steady career. Don’t waste your time with this.
Charles Bronson is no Paul Kersey (his character in the "Death Wish" series), but a less-bold police officer with an unexpected mission. I found this movie to be, besides my yearning for Paul Kersey, slow-moving for most of it. I was also not impressed with Ms. Ireland's performance, which I found lacking and overdoing it. For that reason, rather than a "meh," or no rating, which I would use that option for others where I didn't have a strong feeling between Like and Disliked, this moved into Disliked territory for me.
