"Lifeforce" offers a unique twist with alien vampires. Reviewers enjoyed the wild special effects and the unusual plot, highlighting memorable scenes like a desiccated victim's revival and a notable kiss involving Patrick Stewart. The film's blend of sci-fi and horror was well-received.
It's a Tobe Hooper film, so you know what you're getting into. I'm not sure why it is categorized under "Romance" on Reelgood, but that gives me a chuckle.
This is the one with the naked 'vampire' which got a lot of attention, and you get to see a guy kiss Patrick Stewart, if you're into that. Overall it is a good movie, the plot is not the usual 'vampire' stuff.
A fun idea where vampires are actually alien life forms. My favorite part of this movie was when the first desiccated victim came back to life. The special effects were wild.A spaceship visits Haley’s comet and find an alien ship with three bodies on board. They bring them home and the bodies awaken and start to drain everyone’s life energy. The ship from the comet then comes to earth. And two of the vampires begin harvesting London. It’s mayhem. The only surviving Astronaught that brought home the bodies gets intertwined with the main vampire psychically and he kills her and himself during soul harvesting, blue light, sexual Intercourse. She said he was an alien vampire too? Idk.
