The Last Voyage of the Demeter features impressive special effects makeup, particularly for Dracula/Nosferatu, and strong acting and videography. However, it drags at nearly 2 hours, lacks emotional depth, has low-quality scares, plot holes, and is often too dark to see. The crew's actions are criticized as foolish.
I LOVED the special effects makeup especially how they did Dracula/Nosferatu. Javier Botet as Dracula/Nosferatu is perfect.👍🏻The details with Dracula and the ship was interesting and nice to see. It is based on the original novel “Dracula” by Bram Stoker.Just a warning though, it does drag a bit considering it’s almost 2 hours long.If you like monsters, special effects makeup, and Dracula, I recommend.
For those who think Dracula is this romantic misunderstood searching for his millennial lost love, and the vampires shine with the sun, I recommend you to watch this movie, to admire the truth destructive power of the Count Dracula and its vampire minions.
The Last Voyage of the Demeter is an intriguing premise marred by low-quality scares and plot holes. Really just an OK movie, there's plenty of better options out there if you are looking for your vampire fix.
