"John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum" delivers over-the-top action and incredible fight scenes, with the first 45 minutes being particularly amazing. However, the latter half stagnates. The movie continues directly from the previous installment with little development or big twists, but the characters and choreographed fights are gripping. Some viewers found the ultra-violence off-putting and felt the series lacks a compelling story, despite Keanu Reeves' acting.
A story that continues exactly where the previous movie left off, there isn't much development or big twists, but even so, the characters make all the difference, they're brilliant. The action scenes are incredible, the choreographed fights hold your attention, everything is really well done, you're gripped from start to finish.
7.9/10 good. Not the best of the series but action was amazing
Despite containing some of the films’ most brutal kills & takedowns, JW3 gets bogged down with too many characters and their excessive dramatic screen time. The extended chase sequences and high speed action that made John Wick the gold standard in action cinema, have all been cut back in favor of a more “character” driven story.
