Ratings & Reviews
The Reelgood Score is a comprehensive weighted index designed to evaluate movie & TV quality, deriving its value from a blend of Reelgood user engagement, external ratings metrics expressed through content popularity, and user feedback, including ratings such as "loved," "liked," and "disliked." The score is presented on a scale from 1 to 100, where 100 signifies content that is highly esteemed and positively rated within the community.
"Interstellar" is praised for its stunning visuals, Hans Zimmer's score, and emotional depth. Many consider it a favorite or one of the best films ever. Criticisms include Anne Hathaway's "power of love" monologue, audio mixing issues, and a predictable or slow-paced story. Overall, it's highly regarded but has some minor flaws.
The greatest movie of all time. Seen it probably 10 times. Space, adventure, the love between a father and daughter. No better movie exists
I’ve seen better movies but it was ok
For many years I considered this my favorite film, so I was curious to come back for a rewatch nearly a decade later.Comprehensively, Interstellar holds up well; I still love Hans Zimmer's score, I'm still impressed with the visual effects, and the emotional beats of the film tugged at my heartstrings. As for what I disliked, Anne Hathaway's sappy monologue about "the power of love" made me roll my eyes a bit, but her acting itself isn't the issue, it's the script. Audio levels and mixing also seem to be a consistent issue for Nolan, and there were more than a few moments where the dialogue felt muddied.Thankfully, these annoyances are small compared to the good bits of the film, and despite my gripes, I'm glad I revisited this epic sci-fi adventure of gargantuan proportions!
