Ratings & Reviews
The Reelgood Score is a comprehensive weighted index designed to evaluate movie & TV quality, deriving its value from a blend of Reelgood user engagement, external ratings metrics expressed through content popularity, and user feedback, including ratings such as "loved," "liked," and "disliked." The score is presented on a scale from 1 to 100, where 100 signifies content that is highly esteemed and positively rated within the community.
Okay movie. The film opens with a remake of a song that I like, but not this singer's version, perhaps usually, but certainly not always, the case for me. The subsequent two song remakes are more tolerable. The film moves along slowly, but the duo moves fast given what had just transpired, casting some disbelief for this viewer. Mark's character reveals a least a couple of hidden secrets/talents that we all hide, but that we don't necessarily reveal/get a chance to reveal. Soon after, Meg and Jennifer Jason-Leigh are discussing what's on women's minds, which I haven't found to be true, but mine is a small sample size! Beware of some gruesome parts. A funny part for me was showing a young, but amazingly uncredited Kevin Bacon being a responsible dog owner at 51 minutes, something not usually associated with a man, but right after the paradox of not so responsible. Semi-surprise ending, but lacking the suspense and the musical score that would make this a better movie.
