A serviceable reboot. Captures the spirit of the original, but lacks its grittiness. This is slick, mixed film stock, thriller. The documentary, low budget, look of the original amplified the horrific tale, making the viewers witnesses to the terrible deeds, giving sick feelings in the pits of their stomachs. This has more of a Death Wish vigilante vibe.
