Meh. Was a heavy movie and depicted intense racial conflict. Some of the topics unfortunately still hold true today. Definitely some extreme circumstances to make the point in the movie. I didn’t hate the overall mission of the film, but the depiction was dramatic. Loved ice cube though. It jumped around alot between so many issues: racial divide, white supremacy, rape, sexuality. All of these issues deserve front stage, and I’m happy to see that race and class had a leading part, but it would have been more powerful if focused.
