"Hacksaw Ridge" is praised as one of the best army movies, comparable to "Saving Private Ryan." It combines action and a love story, featuring Desmond Doss's romance and his wartime bravery. Reviewers found it inspiring and worth rewatching, though one noted it was too bloody.
One of those rousing, heart-felt war films. Very good watch.
One of the best army movies i have ever seen right up there with saving private ryan its not only an action movie with the army being involved but also a love movie with desmond doss meating the love of his life but then having to leave for the army and leaving his gorgeous love live behind never to know if he will return or be left a dead man.
So inspiring. It is just an amazing movie.
