This documentary, by the son of the film's creator and featuring the man himself, his daughter, and many others, is a fantastic and intriguing insight into the backstory, motivation, and details of the original 1978 classic. It puts context to such a controversial film. I would advocate that anyone who watches the original should watch this afterward. Well worth it. Then, avoid all of the sequels and remakes. They're awful as they do nothing but repeat the statement and edge that the original already did.
