"Gladiator II" boasts impressive production and VFX, with a strong cast and decent fight choreography. However, it is criticized for being slow, boring, and having a poor storyline with some absurd scenes, such as involving sharks. Overall, it received mixed reviews with a 5.5/10 rating.
It was entertaining enough, but as a sequel it felt contrived and unnecessary. Good action sequences. The connective tissue was lacking.
It seems that a lot of folks didn't like this sequel. I'm not one of them. It is not as good as the first one, but still a great story. My biggest issue was the shark scenes in the Coliseum. Give me a break.
Didn’t know what to expect was pleasantly surprised. Everyone who had a large role in the film played their characters amazingly. 5/5
