The movie "Five Nights at Freddy's" received mixed reviews. Critics noted it wasn't very scary or mysterious, with some finding it a poor adaptation of the game. The acting was criticized, but the cast was described as likable. It was seen as more suitable for kids and fans, with potential for a sequel.
“Five nights at Freddy’s: The Michael Schmidt Story”I waited nearly 10 years for this movie and I would NOT say it disappointed, but it did throw me off. The entire movie until the very end felt like pure world building with no actual moving forward. Again I didn’t hate that, but it begs for a sequel and that kinda sucks. I wouldn’t give it as low a rating as the critics but it’s definitely not the fnaf movie we all thought we would get. It is at heart 100% a Blumhouse film though
Acting was terrible, story was a lousy adaptation of the game. If you are a fan of the games, maybe you’ll enjoy it, otherwise steer clear.
Fine, but not really scary.
