Loved ItOct. 15th, 2023I mostly enjoyed this… I see how fans of the Kubrick movie might be disappointed in this movie since it truly is a sequel to the events of the book (or the 1997 TV miniseries, which was more faithful to the book), not his version of the story. I definitely recommend it to fans of the book.
Disliked ItOct. 13th, 20234/10 honestly, this movie is too long. the acting is sub par. the writing is a little cringey. it's a lot like twilight with 2 supernatural forces battling it out. this makes it shitty lol. not even KINDA scary?? it feels like something that didnt need to be made, and tying it to the shining just cheapens the OG film.
