The movie "Cats" had confusing plot points and mixed reactions to its CGI. Some songs and set designs were appreciated, but overall, the film was poorly received. The cat designs were seen as bearable but not good. The plot required post-viewing analysis, which seemed unintended for this type of film.
“What did I just watch??” movie event of the yearSongs worked - plot was extremely confusing and some of the CGI didn’t do it for me.
a few of the songs were okay, and i liked the set designs. that's about it though, the rest is simply bad.i'm not the first to talk poorly of the cats' designs, but personally, i don't think they look abominable. they don't look good, but it's at the very least 'bearable.'the plot is kinda confusing. i understood some plot points, but i only understood them after the movie was finished. that's good for films that require further analysis, but i'm sure this movie wasn't made for something like that.
