"Breathe" is praised for its emotional depth, resonating with viewers who have personal experiences with disability. The film highlights the inventive spirit of Garfield's character and showcases a strong performance by Foy as a supportive wife. The story is compelling and well-received.
This was a really good movie! Brought back memories for me, because I had a quadriplegic son who they weren’t allow to come home after an accident. They wanted him in a nursing home. So after many phone calls, we brought him home, where he was always around family and friends! He was so inventive in his care, his invention helped thousands of people around the world!
Garfield’s character is paralyzed from the neck down and his friends find ways for him to be mobile. Garfield and Foy make a fine couple, and Foy plays the supportive wife beautifully. Damn good story!
