Better Man

I'm more of a fan of The Stones, The Who, Zeppelin, Styx, Journey, KISS, Van Halen, Five Finger Death Punch, Three Days Grace, Disturbed, Shinedown, etc....But this man's voice is very impressive. Great and interestingly perceived biopic.

This film tells the incredible story of English singer Robbie Williams, but with a twist - Williams is portrayed as an anthropomorphic chimpanzee using cutting-edge CGI! I know it sounds unusual, but trust me, it WORKS!Jonno Davies brings Robbie to life using motion capture, and the voice work is shared between Davies and Robbie himself. The result is a performance that's both deeply personal and universally relatable.The music, of course, is a highlight - with Robbie's iconic hits woven seamlessly into the narrative. I found myself singing along to "Angels" and "Let Me Entertain You"!What truly impressed me, though, was the film's thoughtful exploration of Robbie's struggles with fame, mental health, and relationships. It's a powerful reminder that even the most seemingly confident performers can be hiding vulnerabilities.Overall, I'd give "Better Man" a well-deserved 8.3/10! If you're a Robbie Williams fan or just love a good musical biopic, do yourself a favor and check this one out!

Knew nothing about it going in and walked away happy I saw it. A piece of pop-culture I knew little about.
