"A Dark Song" is a slow-burn horror film praised for its compelling atmosphere, strong performances, and unique supernatural approach. However, some viewers found the pacing drawn out and the conclusion rushed, with the ending potentially unsatisfying for some.
Definitely a slow-burn horror that focuses more on atmosphere and psychological tension than jump scares. The story follows a grieving mother and an occultist who perform a long, intense ritual to contact her dead son. The film stands out for its unique approach to the supernatural, but the pacing can feel drawn out at times. The strong performances and unsettling tone keep you intrigued, even though the ending may not satisfy everyone.
Very compelling although is kind of a slow burn of a movie. The conclusion felt kind of rushed, interesting though. Very good acting and that is the main point why I liked the movie.
